Fire Safety to the First Grade Classes

My class loved the Fire Trucks and learning about how the
firefighters received their calls and pushing the buttons to make the sirens go and the horns honk.

We practiced writing our letter Gg Friday, everyone put forth their best effort and made some awesome letter Gg's on their wipe boards. So proud of the focus these students used to work toward the end in mind! Great job class!!! You rock!!

                                

First Grade Truly ROCKS!!!

I have enjoyed getting to know all my students these first few weeks of school! :) I have an awesome classroom of very intelligent, eager learners and we are going to have one great school year! We have been working on reading, writing, math and building upon our social skills with kindness, friendship and this week we are working on No bullying.
We have learned to be proactive, think win-win, and think with the end in mind.  These are the first three habits of the Seven habits of happy kids.
